Leadership and professional journey

Drive Impact + is led by Kais Sanchou, whose professional journey combines engineering, business leadership, and large-scale execution.


Kais holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from École Centrale Paris (2001) and brings more than two decades of experience across digital platforms, operations, and business transformation.

Key milestones of his professional journey include:

• Developing value-added services and smart card solutions with major telecom operators at Gemalto (now a Thalès company) and Morpho (now Idemia), working at the intersection of technology, security, and large-scale deployments.

• Building and scaling B2B businesses in ride-hailing and food delivery at Careem, structuring enterprise partnerships and commercial models, and contributing to the company’s growth leading up to its $3 billion acquisition by Uber.

• Leading the transformation, growth, and profitability shift as CEO of Jumia Tunisia, a leading e-commerce and quick-commerce platform, with full responsibility for operations, commercial performance, and execution.

This background reflects a consistent pattern: operating at the crossroads of strategy, digital platforms, and execution, with direct accountability for results in complex, fast-growing environments.

Today, Drive Impact + builds on Kais’s experience to support organizations in transforming their core business, structuring priorities, and scaling digital initiatives with discipline and impact.
